Story

Me and Zachar,y, between us over 10 days, are going to walk 100 miles up to Easter Sunday so part of it will be covering all of Holy Week - it’s for the wonderful Keech hospice.

It’s to celebrate the life on this earth of David Hobbs, my father  in law and Zachary’s Grandpa, also known as Davva.. It’s also happening over Easter which has been chosen especially,  to celebrate Davids new life and to give thanks this Easter.

We are walking  in Luton Town football shirts and Keech T shirts  to celebrate his love for the football team and to give thanks for what Keech did for him.

On the last day we will be walking as a family with Simon and Maya from Caddington down to Luton’s town football club to stand outside the club in memory of David. This will make up our final miles.

The only charity we could possibly pick for this challenge  is Keech hospice. They lovingly cared for him for his last five days on earth and enabled us to reunite as a family after 8 weeks apart due to Covid. We can never say thanks to Keech enough for helping a second family member of ours. We hope this challenge can raise much money to help them during these very challenging Covid times.

We have set out target at £380 as that would pay for 10 hours of nursing care for someone.

Finally -

“This ones for you Davva Hobbs ... we love you and miss you”💙
